MS-385 with 7 teams this year

Normally there are 6 teams in the league, ya play five teams two times each getting 10 games.

This season there was a small mix up with some dead line issues letting a team in a bit early.

This will not increase our rates, but we get an extra two games. So far, instead of Double Headers to make the difference, there will be a bye week.

I think this works rather on the plus side for us.

Unfortunately, the Bay Street team is back in the league. This is the team that does not know what a social league is, or that it is for fun.

They played in a tournament league last year and were totally crushed every week, so they came back to MS 385.

Oh goodie. The thrill of wanting to punch another softball player in the face will be back for 2 games. Just sitting here thinking about it, is making the urge comeback right now. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

I don't know why everyone gets so worked up about these guys. They are jerks but they still aren't a good team. Sure they are pretty good for a social league, but they proved last year they don't stand a chance in a competitive league. I don't blame them for wanting to come back to a league where they can actually win a game. Who really cares if they are nice or not anyways. It's not like we have to go to Bay Street Pub and drink with them.

 

I think the addition of Brent, Dan, and Chris are going to make us one of the better teams. That's three more guys that will give us a .500+ avg. with great fielding. Plus we have one or two other new guys that will help as well. I think it's actually good Bay Street is back so now we can put them in their place.

 

I think we have a really good team this year. BS doesn't stand a chance.
