Project the Opening Day 25-man Roster

JJHardy7
I am very pleased and fairly surprised after some of the comments made by the front office and Macha about how and options and whatnot would also have an effect on who made it and who was sent down (assuming that Duffy is indeed on the 25 man over TGJ). Nice work!! I think they will both be nice additions to the club

I don't know if anyone read the blog about Lamb being disappointed, but for some reason, it sounds like he thought he was entitled to a spot on the team. I don't know why a guy who hasn't done anything in 3 years and is 33, feels entitled to a roster spot. It's not like he had a great spring either. (.250)

There is a link to the blog that WisconsinSportsRule mentioned above. I also don't understand why Lamb thought he deserved to make the team over McGehee. He hasn't produced in a long time, and McGehee and Counsell both outperformed him, making his lefty bat to complement Hall un-needed.

I think its comical that Lamb thinks he "deserved" to make the team. Apparently he doesn't see himself the way he appeared to many of us that saw him at spring training. Perhaps he thought he was a lock and didn't put forth a full effort of a guy striving to make the team. Maybe would explain the uptick in his production the past week or so...

In other words, with Gwynn out of options, the Brewers are deciding if the want to put him on waivers and risk losing him.

Risk it, please. I think the best thing may for the Brewers and TGJ to part ways. It is obvious that he isn't going to get much of a chance to be more than a 4th/5th outfielder for us. He would get a better chance with a different team. Then we can move on and have veterans as bench players.

I would agree with Lamb if he had hit well sometime in the last year or he played good defense. His defense has been really bad for quite a while.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I doubt Gwynn's poor defense helped his cause last night. Cameron and Duffy catches both of those balls. However, Duffy has really cooled off at the plate since he started facing real pitching. How about we keep niether?

That's a real possibility if the rumors about Podsednik are true. However, it sounds like they like Duffy, and they'll probably go with him. Wouldn't surprised to see Cain with us later in the season.
