Carlos Pena

Carlos Pena is having an unbelievable season. He is hitting .288 20 HRs and 52 RBIs Slugging .611 and has an OBP of .397.

Due to the team he's on and the lack of pitching prospects they have why not go for Pena and put him in left field. Hes left handed, and hits good against lefties and righties. How bout Parra and Jackson for Pena.

The time to pick up Carlos was before his superb '07, not now.

agreed. We should look for the next Pena. Maybe Hee Seop Choi? Where's he nowadays?

hmm, I just checked and surprisingly Pena played 1 game in left last year. He didn't catch anything, but maybe no one hit one near him.

Or maybe they did. It is nice to see he's finally tapped into his talent. It seems like he was a can't miss prospect only a decade or so ago.
