PS3 controller won't work. Fixes? Deals on new ones?

I think the right analog stick on my Sixaxis controller pooped the bed last night. In a neutral position, it will slowly move up, which makes playing games too frustrating.

 

I tried resetting it to no avail, have any other PS3 owners had this happen? Can I take it apart and clean it, or did something likely break? Along those lines, does anybody know where I can find a deal on a new controller? Looks like the cheapest is $43 on amazon.
