Dmitri Young

After fighting alcoholism and diabetes, Dmitri Young has come back a new man, granted a bigger man. That said, does anyone think that he would be happy to come to Milwaukee and enter the Pennant Chase?

Granted he would be brought in primarily to backup Prince at 1b and be the first bat off the bench, but would he still be able to play a little LF in a pinch?

As scary as the thought is, should Prince go down for a few weeks, id feel much more comfortable having a guy like Young at 1b instead of a guy like Graffy.

He's been very good this year, and a great feel-good story. If he could be had cheaply as a bench bat, I'd totally take him. However, I'd guess someone with less depth than us would be willing to pay more. That, and there's still time for a contender to lose a key bat to injury.

If we could get him I would do it in a second. I am sure that he's in the block as Wash. is going nowhere, and the money is hardly an issue since he is a free agent at the end of the year (unlike Stairs I believe.)
