"BUCKS WIVES SAVE LIVES" SILENT AUCTION
TO BE HELD SUNDAY
Proceeds to Benefit Milwaukee Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Program

The Milwaukee Bucks, Columbia St. Mary's Hospital, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Milwaukee Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Program are teaming up for the 16th Annual "Bucks Wives Save Lives" silent auction to be held Sunday, February 22, when the Bucks take on the Denver Nuggets at the Bradley Center at 4:00 p.m.

The silent auction begins at 3:00 p.m. in the Bradley Center's East Lobby. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on NBA and other memorabilia, including autographed basketballs, Milwaukee Bucks autographed game worn jerseys, and other jerseys and basketballs from NBA superstars.

Among the many items to be auctioned is a Michael Redd autographed game worn jersey, a framed LeBron James autographed authentic jersey, a framed Dwayne Wade autographed authentic jersey, a Chris Paul autographed basketball, and "My Favorite Things" baskets prepared by players' wives. The baskets include autographed items and favorite music, video and food items of the players.

All items being auctioned will be on display in the Bradley Center's East Lobby for viewing and bidding from 3:00 p.m. until the end of halftime. All proceeds from the auction go directly to the Milwaukee Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Program.

During the bidding, Bucks Team Mates (wives, girlfriends and family members) and representatives from the Milwaukee Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Program will be on hand to monitor the auction and answer questions about the program.

The Milwaukee Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Program is a project of the City of Milwaukee Health Department. Since its inception in 1990, the program has provided breast cancer screenings to more than 28,000 uninsured and underinsured women in the City of Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Program is supported by city, state and private contributions.

Previous "Bucks Wives Save Lives" auctions have raised more than $206,000 for the fight against breast and cervical cancer over the last 15 seasons.

Columbia St. Mary's Hospital and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel are Milwaukee Bucks marketing partners.
