ESPN Streak for the cash

Is anyone else doing this? I'm having a good time. You can pick games from all kinds of sports and the object is to get a streak of 27 in a row. That gets you one million dollars. My streak is at 4 right now after Oklahoma beat Baylor, but I'm 17-17 overall.

My roommate's father is awesome at it, i think he's made ESPN's list and has been on with Homer a few times talking about it, he got me hooked and hopefully some good will come out of it.

Yeah I have been doin it since October. Also a member of "Team Homer". Right now my streak is at 5.

i want to know how obsessed the guy who won january has to be. he picked 114 games in january. that is 3.5 games per day. crazy!

my longest streak is 5 and i am still about 10 under 500. I do not know how people can pick so many unless you are in front of your computer all day.

I am also a member of Team Homer. I am currently at 6, and picked UCLA for 7. Hopefully they can pull this off at ASU.

My streak is up to 5 now after Illinois squeaked that one out over Northwestern. The picks today suck though. I might go with Villanova over WVU.

I'm at 43-29-2 since this play-period started (January 1, I believe). My streak right now is at 1, though, unfortunately.

My streak is at 8 now. I think I'm going to go with UConn tonight, but I'm still debating.

I had to find this thread to vent. I had a seven game streak going, and picked Baylor over Georgetown in the NIT. Then my roommate convinced me that that was the wrong pick, and I switched to Georgetown. Of course, Georgetown lost a close one. Since that game my streak is at 11.

 

So, if I get that one pick right, my streak would be at 19.

 

Anyways, I realize that had I got that one pick right, my strategy would have been different for the next few picks, so it probably doesn't end up at 19 anyways. But it's the premise.
