2009 Brewerfan.net Winter Meetings - TONIGHT! Kelly's Bleachers in Milwaukee

I don't know how to reveal the announcement, so it'll have to wait a little longer.

 

I think we may have seen our best winter meeting attendance to date - about 20 members and companions. The S.O. and I were happy to meet (or see again, in some cases) you all: Nottso, bensheeps and Mrs., Invader3K and Mrs., zzzmanwitz and buddy, tomwopat and Mrs., Runabase, SteveAA and Mrs., sgtcluels and ewizabeff, brewguy03, brewerjamie15 and brewermary15, and Jake from the Brewers (with companion - please let her know what a great sport she is).

Nottso was understating when he said "crazy loud." The noise level was not conducive to conversation. I'm thinking maybe the strobes and lasers made up for it, not to mention the dance floor entertainment right in front of us.

 

Pictures were taken, not with my camera so I can't post them, but I assume they will eventually be posted.

If there are any other official (or unofficial for that matter, such as the Zims ones last year) meet ups this year, I am definitely game.

Thanks to all (Jaime) that help organize the event. Other than the fact that my wife couldn't get the bar to find the girls' state basketball games and the music level as others have said, it was a great night. We will try to make the trip again for the next meeting.

Thanks to all who showed. In the earlier part of the evening we actually had almost 30 people show. I'll post pics and more details later in the day. I am being forced into chores and errands for a while today. Something about groceries and picking up our daughter being more important.... My wife needs to re think her priorities I believe.
