Weeks avoids arbitration, signs for $2.45 mil; Rogers signed for 2009

No word yet on the contract figure for Weeks. It'll be in the neighborhood of $2.4 mil. The contract is worth $2.45 mil, with another $75K possible in performance bonuses.

 

Rogers will get a major league salary of $400K, but barring something miraculous happening he'll pitch in the minors and will get paid a minor league salary of quite a bit less.

 

25 of the 39 players on the 40-man roster are now under contract.
