Figured I would start a list of potential fillers for the Crew if they have a decent ST and the teams decide not to add them to their roster.

Mitre is suspended and hurt. Igawa carrys a huge price tag.

Quite a few pitchers that have had success sometime in the past. Many are potentially damaged goods now though. Bring em in and let the medical staff check them out.

The most intriguing name on that list is Jason Johnson. He signed with the Yankees though IIRC.

 

I'm pretty sure Fossum signed somewhere too and Correia signed with the Padres.

 

The rest are no better than Nick Green or Chase Wright IMO, but I wouldn't mind seeing 1 or 2 invited.

 

I would go for Chacin or Sosa.

Mark Prior. Just because it would be hilarious if the guy shut down the Cubs. Then again, I'm sure Cubs would find it hilarious hitting batting practice v. him.
