Comment from a former Brewers farmhand

Recently, I met a retired pitcher who was in the Brewers' farm system from 2003-2005. We struck up a conversation, and when he found out I am affiliated with Brewerfan, he reacted immediately, saying: "Wow, you know about Brewerfan? When I was in the Brewers' organization, 90% of my teammates watched that site on a daily basis during the season!"

 

First of all, I took that as a major compliment, but beyond that, it's also a Grade A reminder of why we pay attention to attitude, civility, etc on this site...you never know who's out there reading the things you type!

Pretty cool; I've always assumed that many in the organization took a look relatively often, including many of the players, especially the younger ones. They're only human...curiosity killed the cat, but I suppose satsifaction brought him back in many cases (does 3TO's mother even love him as much as the brewerfan peanut gallery?).
