Favorite driving music?

sheetswannabe

Whats everybody's favorite driving music?

I enjoy listening to the 90's rock era myself (Grew up listening to it)

Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and Temple of the Dog

I am a Chris Cornell fan, but not of his solo stuff.

More recent music:

Audioslave, Buckcherry, Rock n Roll Soldiers, and Linkin Park

When my old band would go on tour, we had 5 staples:

Ramones - Ramones Mania

NWA - Straight Outta Compton

Zero Boys - Vicious Circle

Scared Of Chaka - Tired Of You

Andrew WK - I Get Wet

Then there was a lot of Jerky Boys, and comedy records thrown in there as well. My current band listened to Patton Oswalt's - Feeling Kinda Patton and Werewolves and Lollipops pretty much every day. We'd show up to other towns as strangers and be quoting each of his albums, on stage sometimes too. They probably were all pretty annoyed with us after just a few hours.

If we're going to or from a Brewer game (and within range of Hartford), it's polka, polka, polka. It's the happiest music on earth.
Nice! I've amazing everyone who's discovered how many lyrics to polka songs I know.

As for me in the car:

I'm travelin' down the road and I'm flirtin' with disaster... All Molly Hatchet, all the time.

88.9 FM, Radio Milwaukee!

I won't "do" commercial music radio. That stopped years ago. Having said that, my heart goes out to any station below 92 on the FM dial.

I like my XM, but, unfortunately, some of the channels still remind me of the commercial stuff. I like tuning in the Blues channel, though.

Now that I've pontificated, I will say that "Drivin' All Night" by the Tubes fits the mood of the thread title. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif "White Punks on Dope" and "Don't Touch Me There" are more entertaining, though.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
