no, and no:

things left to figure out: a motive for the murderer (a relationship to the dead guy). exactly how the guy dies.

note: this is the last one of these that are super involved. i have a bunch more of these that are shorter and probably better games to play in this setting

edit:

ollie - no

Was the victim traveling to a place where he thought he might be "saved"?

Was the victim driving to get away from the fortune teller?

The car was found in water....Lake water? River water? Ocean water? Other?

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

Was the victim famous?

Was the fortune teller famous or well known?

Did the fortune teller know anyone close to the victim?

Did following the directions of the map lead directly to the victim's death? (In other words, would the victim still be alive if he did not follow the map?)

Just prior to the accident, was there anything wrong with the victim's car?

Did the fortune teller, or anyone working in cahoots with the fortune teller, tamper with the victim's car?

EDIT: Was the victim's car found on its roof?

Did the victim's car ever have to cross, or drive on, a bridge?

If so, was there something about the bridge that would make it dangerous for a car?

Was the bridge the place where the accident/death occurred?

Was the victim led into oncoming traffic?

Was the fortune teller dating someone close to the victim?

Was this over a forbidden romance?

Would the fortune teller or someone close to him gain financially by the victim's death?

Did the victim disregard a sign (Road closed, bridge out, etc) that later led to his demise?

Was high tide involved in the death?

Had the road been washed away due to a storm?

Was he going to a body of water to cleanse or remove the hex? ("You have to purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.")

Was Prince or Appolonia involved at all? =-)

Grrrrr. This is getting frustrating.

Let's get this out of the way...

The person whom the fortune teller knows... Is it the victim's:

daughter?

wife?

son?

sibling?

parents?

coworker?

neighbor?

-Is the fortune teller stalking that person?

-Does that person share the same feelings towards the fortune teller as he/she does with them?

-Was the fortune teller working alone?

-Is the victim's occupation important?

Reference the bridge...

-Did the fortune teller or someone working with the fortune teller, tamper with the bridge?

-Was the bridge open for vehicular traffic when the accident occurred?

-Was the bridge specifically for pedestrians and bicycles?

-Did the bridge collapse?

-Does this bridge open and close for large boats passing underneath?

Was the victim having an affair with the fortune teller's wife?

Did the victim harm the fortune teller's wife in some manner?

Was the bridge rigged with some type of explosives?

Did the victim know they had received the 'death card'?

Did the victim die from:

Blunt bodily trauma?

Fire/smoke?

Electrical shock?

So, the victim is having an affair with the fortune teller's wife. The victim goes to get his fortune told, and he receives the death card. The fortune teller draws him a map to a location where the hex can be reversed. Unbeknownst to our victim, the fortune teller rigged a bridge with explosives and blows up the bridge as the victim drives over it.

Close?

Close? i would say it's close enough. lol

the victim goes to get his fortune told. during their session, the fortune teller realizes this is the man his wife has been having an affair with. the fortune teller gives the man the death card and draws a map for the man to go and get the fortune reversed. the fortune teller knows a shoretcut, where he drives there and riggs the bridge in some manner (explosives are possible, but not as likely). the man drives on the bridge, where it fails and he plunges to his death.
