That and Parra had a .336 BABIP to Floyd's .268. And a better HR/9. And a better GB%.

 

That makes for Parra being significantly better after regression to the mean.

I think Parra could be a real stud this year. While his ERA collapsed in the second half his skills really didn't. He had 9.0 K/9 and only 3.3 BB/9 in the 2nd half with a 55% GB rate. That comes out to an xERA of 3.17. It was all derailed by a 37% hit rate and a bloated 18% HR/FB which likely were just from fatigue. Shandler listed him as a 3.91 ERA but with an UP prediction of 3.25.

 

Full season of Gallardo is a #1 SP as well most likely, he is the real deal if he can stay healthy.
