Awesomeness within, you are warned...

That's the code to face Tyson, and that is from memory. Sad, huh?

After all these years, I have still never beaten Tyson. I've never even knocked him down.

I can input that code in about 3 seconds without even thinking of what the numbers are, just listening to the sound, so you're not the saddest among us.

I'm probably only .500 against Tyson now, but I used to be able to beat him without being knocked down. I won many a $10 after-bar bet against people who thought Tyson was impossible. It was actually Super Macho Man that gave me the most trouble.

I just wanted to update three things.

1. A new Tecmo Bowl is definitely in the works. But the players will likely be generic. (QB Bills!)

2. Tyson probably isn't in the new Punch Out. I can't say officially...but 95% sure.

3. There is some doubt about how well Punch Out will work. Wii's controllers aren't very sensitive. They controllers don't have the technology to really establish where the punches are aimed. (For example, the controller likely won't recognize a punch to the face versus a punch to the stomach) Nintendo could just cheat the system - for example, when Hippo is taunting and leaving his stomach open they could have all the punches go to the stomach.

No way!!! It is perhaps the greatest game of all time. I was so obsessed with Mike Tyson's Punch Out that I did not stop playing the game until I went through the entire game without getting punched, an accomplishment that I will never repeat again. Now the obsession can start all over again.

And here I was the whole time thinking I was the only one dorky enough and with enough time to do such a thing. I would play the game until I got punched, then reset it. I did it 2-3 times all the way through (I really, really needed a life). I recently busted it out and could get as far as Super Macho Man (with several punches obviously) but I had lost all of my old touch. Of course, I still remembered the "tells" and tricks to everyone after all this time...I see no choice but to buy this game.

For those who got it today...how is the gameplay? Is it difficult to actually throw the punches with the Wiimote and stuff? How does the head/body shots work, how can it tell?
