Dye dealt to Reds for Homer Bailey in alternate reality

Homer Bailey really isn't the prospect he was a few years back. At this point, he is more hype than production.

That's interesting. I remember reading a scout say that of Hughes, Gallardo, and Bailey that Bailey was the best, followed by Hughes and Gallardo was the 3rd best of the three. Now Bailey is traded, Hughes is struggling, and while Gallardo got hurt I think he would be picked first by everyone. That scout was talked to right before Gallardo got called up the first time. I wonder what happened to Bailey.

Thats a good deal for Cincy. Although Dye is up there in age, Bailey seems destined for the bullpen.

What a steal for the Reds imo. That lineup could be dangerous with Phillips, Encarnacion, Votto, Bruce, Dye.
