I think the Brewers should make a play for him. He is a 24 year old switch hitting third baseman. He is a career .295 hitter in the minors and is an average defender, but also he is very versatile and can play second and corner outfield.

Looks like Garrett Atkins might be available for the right price. He is not a left handed bat but would look great in our lineup.

Atkins home/away splits make him look terrifyingly bad away from Coors (.233 average, .278 OBP, .383 slugging).

Guzman is available in the rule 5 draft, and he does seem interesting. However, it should be noted that he played the last few years in hitters parks in hitters leagues.

And he's 25 with only 15 AAA games under his belt. He had a good season last year, but had a .392 BABIP as well. Anything more than depth sitting in AAA isn't interesting.
