Need help remembering a 1980's cartoon

I need help remembering a cartoon from the 1980's (probably early to mid 1980's). This one's just on the fringe of my memory so I'm sorry if the description is a little vague:

 

Tiny troll-like people driving cars in trees. In my head, the people/trolls look almost hippy-ish. And they were very miniature, like bug-size.
