Do we have enough Entourage watchers here to make a thread for it? It's without a doubt my favorite TV show, sucks that this weekend is the season finale. There is no way they are going to be able to tie up many things in one 25 minute episode, and then 9 months before any more new episodes.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

 

Last weeks episode was one of my favorites, Drama's one liners, Turtle's real name, the German all mad while Du Hast is playing, and Vince still struggling, it's a good change from the first couple seasons when they could do no wrong.

I really have liked this season. Vince trying to get his career back is a good angle, the show would get stale if he always was on top. As much as I didn't think season 4 was that great, this season has made up for it. I would like to see Billy Walsh come back, that is just an awesome character. I do like how they keep cycling minor characters in and out. It keeps then fresh. What if I was to tell you that season 6 starts in May? Is that something you might be interested in?

 

I wish I had someone I worked with named Lloyd, just so I could do what Ari does when he's getting angry... "LLOYD!"

I couldn't stand this show the first couple episodes I saw, but it has morphed into one of my favorites--sugary, brief and easily digestible.

Agreed on Walsh, he's great. \\ Agreed on Vince. He's cool but its really his boys and Ari that make the show. Ari is by far my favorite, but I am an E fan as well. I loved when Ari slapped around Adam Davies and his dialogue in that scene. Priceless, totally priceless. Also most of the time the guest spots are actually good and useful to the show, which is different than a lot of shows. Bob Sagat. That was such a good spot. I am sad to see the season over so soon. Seemed like it just started.

I believe that Turtle is dating Jamie Lynn Siegler in real life.

Ari lost in the mountains after they were all doing mushrooms was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time.

One of my favorite shows by far. Me and a couple other buddies get together every Sunday night and watch together. It has been so frustrating this season with Vince struggling to get his career back on track. I thought Smoke Jumpers was gonna do that. But then that German director screwed everything up. Will be interesting to see what happens in the season finale in NY. I hope somehow maybe next season Vince rises back to prominence when they resurrect "The Ramones" movie he was gonna do.

I was thinking once Entourage has run its course I would definitely watch a spinoff that was all about Drama and his career or lack thereof.

The beginning of the season started out pretty bad. It seemed like none of the episodes tied into the one that came before it, and the fact that Ari turned down a muti-million dollar contract because he cares about one of his B-List moviestars was really not believable. That said, the last episode was great and the show finally has some direction again. I didn't realize that it was the second to last episode, it will be interesting to see how they end the season.

Last week should've been the finale...there would have been a cliffhanger at the least.

 

I guess the show exists as a crowd-pleaser, though, and continued Queens storylines should pay dividends for them.

I just started watching the DVDs and am about to finish Season 1, but I really like this show. It shouldn't take me too long to catch up as I end up watching like 4 episodes every time I sit down planning to watch 1.

I really enjoyed last night's finale and the cameo at the end was awesome. I can't wait for season 6!

I liked the happy ending. I guess the only thing I would have left hanging is the Vince/E storyline. Like Vince still gets the Scorsese movie but we leave the last episode with E still not knowing about it.

Good season. Based on how HBO shows, I'd give Entourage one or two more seasons before they call it quits.

So what did everyone think of the season 6 premiere? I liked it, seems this season is going to focus more on the guys as individuals. Should be interesting what Ari will out Lloyd through to see if he is agent material. Next week Vince's big "Gatsby" movie premiere.

I liked it as well. The first ep of a season usually starts slow to set the tempo for the remainder of the season. Looks like Vince gets his star back on track, but now will have his crew kinda branch out on their own. It should be a great season!

 

Did anyone watch Hung? Pretty bad. Not impressed.

I also liked the first episode, thought that it laid a lot of groundwork for the rest of the season. Also watched Hung. Thought in the first episode that it might have some potential, but it is quickly loosing my interest.

Had to bring this back, just to comment that last night had to be the worst episode of the whole series. No funny lines, no semi-interesting drama or story lines. The final scene, especially the dialouge and the look on Vince's face at the very end, was awful. It is still early in the season, but if that is indicative of how the rest of the season is going to go, not a good ending to a series I enjoyed.
