Anyone have experience/preference with building/running Email newsletters?

Hey everyone

 

Looking to set up some for my shirt business, just want the basics. Needs to be easy for me, easy for customers to add/delete name from list, etc.

 

Found some online, just looking for input, people who run them, think one service is better than the next. My host doesn't offer anything like this, Is there a not to hard way to run this myself? I am not overly savvy with a computer but know my way around.

I use Campaign Monitor for a number of clients. I have briefly used other systems that various clients used, and I continue to like Campaign Monitor. Granted however, it is aimed moreso at someone like myself, providing these services, than it is anyone. What I mean by this, is you still need to know some HTML to really send out HTML emails. If you want to send out text only emails, then you could do that yourself.

The site easily handles people subscribing to your list, and unsubscribing, and they will do that part for free. You only pay when you actually send an email. This is really nice for the clients I have that don't send regular emails.

They also have another site, MailBuild that is meant for someone to create HTML templates for you, and then you run it from there. I don't have any experience with that site though.

They also have a number of free templates you can use, that are already coded for you. Free Templates
