I'm totally pumped for this game. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to make it out to Miller Park for OD this year, but my buddies and I will be skipping class to watch this game and will hopefully be able to celebrate a Brewers win.

Brian let me down in this department, so I'll cover for him.

Reminder -- chat room holds 25, first-come, first-serve.

For bigger games like this, I actually like it when most people post in the IGT. That way if you want to take a trip down memory lane some time in the future, you can just check out the IGT.

Brian-

The way you kicked off the season was a thing of beauty. I think I'm going to cry.

I'd image tomorrow that you'll go dust of your John Fogerty album and crank up 'Centerfield', hey?

Brewer Fanatic Staff

Just posted this in the Issues Forum, but it probably bears repeating here for visibility:

Just wanted to say that from reading the other forums, it's pretty clear that if you wear your Brewerfan softball jersey to Miller Park, expect folks to notice and for fellow posters to even approach you.

Don't think it was planned as an advertising gimmick, but brewerjamie strikes again with what will be a fun marketing tool for you guys, so keep showing up at the park wearing your jersey.

What's so cool about tonight is imagining the possibilities for the season. Not that we haven't been doing just that since October 2; but the proof starts in less than 24 hours. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Remember, Brewers: Give Sharpie some run support for a change.

Go team!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Oh well. My hopes are crushed for the season. Joe Sheehan to be under .500 this season giving us something like 77 wins. I guess there's always next year. maybe we shouldn't even watch the game.

Some of those injuries seem to be from last season. (Some of the dates are August). I noticed that Sheets is listed on the 60 day and my heart skipped a beat until I realized that this was actually old news. (Also, Duffy is listed on 60 day, yet is leading off).

Looks gloomy/rainy outside today. Sure am glad they got the retractable dome. Can't wait for the first pitch. Don't have tickets, but told the boss that I had a appointment and will be leaving work at noon to get home to watch the game on TV.

GOOOOOOOOOOOO Brewers!!!!!!!!

The Beer Brats have been Boiled, the brunswick stew is ready(the southerners on this board know what i am talking out), the grill is in the car. The 24 pack of Miller Lite is packed. My Yount Jersey is hanging up, calling to me. Boys, in 3 hours, i leave for Opening Day. My Cubbie-lovin GF is really excited for her first Opening Day. I have a feeling this game will turn her to our side(i have already turned her Mom, back at the "Spring Madness" game last year). Rain or shine, i will be tailgating. I can't wait, the season is upon us.

Is it odd to get goosebumps from clicking on an IGT? I just did.

Does anyone know if the player intros are going to be televised? Were they last year? I was there, and that may have been the coolest thing I have ever witnessed at a game.
