If Burnitz was playing for us on that at bat, the pitcher throws some real high or real low junk and he strikes out.. since he plays for the pirates and our player is pitching, he gets something hittable and gets on base..

 

we need to start throwing more garbage to the "power" hitters just like teams do to our power hitters.. If Fielder plays for the Pirates he has 3 homeruns by now.

 

Other than that, i'm happy :D

Something interesting to note Brett, according to Elias, the only person to throw a no-hitter and lose was Ken Johnson in 1964 against Cincy. Andy Hawkins also did it, losing 4-0 for the Yankees against Chicago. However, he only pitched 8 innings, since the bottom of the ninth wasn't needed for Chicago. According to Elias, a no-hitter is counted only if it is a complete game, that is at least 9 innings. So, Andy Hawkins technically doesn't count in the record books.
