Police Records Search?

There was a domestic dispute of sorts on the sidewalk outside my place last night at around 3:30 AM. There was a girl screaming hysterically and when I woke up and got to the window I saw her sprawled out on the ground with a guy standing next to her trying to convince her to get up. I was going to go out and see what the problem was, but a neighbor beat me out there. Soon after the cops arrived. I'm curious to find out what happened. Is there anyway to look this up? Or is that privacy invasion or something. It was practically in my driveway (though I'm renting, not the owner.)

Go down to your local police department and fill out an open records request form. If it is an open investigation, the department may not release the details. There may be other factors which prevent the police from releasing the form, such as HIPAA which includes detox runs.
