Even with the bad results Carlos had this year as a starter, his 'career' numbers are still not bad. He is only 24 as well, so I just can't forsee him getting dramatically worse. I can't figure out what in any of his stats makes him project as being bad in either role, especially in the bullpen.

The low strikeout rate as a starter is the thing that jumps out. The HR as well, but that's not as dramatic.
