That's funny cause short ABs is exactly what led to Koskie's double today and his three hits on Sunday. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Sometimes against pitchers with lesser stuff who are throwing strikes you just have to go after them. It didn't work out for Corey there, but his appraoch has been more successful than just about everyone else.

If a lesser pitcher is having trouble finding the strike zone, yeah then patience is your friend. But if that lesser pitcher is throwing strikes all you're doing is setting yourself up for 0-2, 1-2, and 2-2 counts.

Man, Suppan has just owned the Brewers the last three years.

You are absolutely right about going after guys who throw strikes. I never understood why you would take pitches against a guy who is throwing strikes regularly. Get aggressive!! Still, I would've liked Corey to take a pitch or 2. I am a hypocrite!!!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
