And Prince seems to be out of that bad first week. By the end of April, I think he'll be mashing the ball.

Clancy, you mean bad 3 days? Fielder never was in a slump. Jenkins was never really in a slump. I was personally frustrated with just his look at the plate, where his swings were nowhere close. Even with Jenkins, he's had 4 or more hits in this series, so if that's a slump, then it was maybe 4 days long. Miller and Clark are closer to slumping, although Brady's soft liners are just right at guys. It's not like he's weakly grounding out to SS. They'll start dropping.

Taking 1 of 3 is what most of us expected. Good to get it...Thank You Carlos. Saved the game twice in the 10th, now saving it in the 11th.

"As for Carlos... the better he does, the more the Crew gets at the deadline. "

Thanks for that, Harold.

You don't sound too crazy about winning ballgames, do you?

Realistically, if we had Nelson Cruz out there in LF instead of Lee, we'd be under .500 already.

I can't wait until we trade Prince next year, so we can something at the deadline for him!

can someone who was watching the game describe carlos' catch?

He slowed down about mid track, took a look back at the wall, and then timed his leap perfectly. He caught it backhanded about two feet above the top of the wall and maybe a foot past it.

i saw him make a great catch in the metrodome last year. I thought it was maybe his best play as a brewer. This one sounds like it tops out. I will watch for it, maybe if we are lucky it will be on bb tonight.

It's really as simple as this: if they are in the hunt at the trading deadline, they would almost have to keep him. If they are not realistically in it, he's gone. I somehow don't see the latter happening.

good description homer. Also, Carlos didn't just leap and catch it, he jumped, grabbed the top of the wall with his right hand/forearm to prop himself up, and then went full extension with his glove hand to catch it. the actual catch--as homer said--occured at least 2-5 feet above the wall (because he was above the wall's height, since propped up on his right arm), and at least a foot past the wall.

Among the top catches I've seen live in person or live on TV. Right up there with a sliding catch Alex Diaz made, and Krynzel's now-infamous grab at Miller Park.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Just got home from school...was sitting in 8th hour French continually checking the score on my cell, and when Lee homered I could hardly control myself...got me in a little trouble but it was worth it...

Great win Crew, didn't think they had a chance against Suppan.

Bring on the 7-1 Mets!
