Brewer opponents get clutch hits with RISP, the Brewers don't.

Story of the season so far. I said earlier in the week that its like the Brewers are trying to get to their "quota" of 10 hits without scoring a run. More than two hits in an inning? Yeah right.

It would be nice if the brewers actually got a break on a close play every oh sayyyyyyyyyyyyyy 2 seasons?

Brewers get a close call for them vs the NEWYORK mets?

hhahahahahhahahaha

7 strikeouts through 4. Wow, are you kidding?

This offense just becomes completely hapless anytime there is any threat of scoring, and Miller is basically becoming an auto-out. Pretty frustrating.

Where did all of that hitting go that we saw in Spring Training?

It'll come around. Its still very early in the season and since we have so many young players in key positions, our offense is going to take some time to develop. I think most everyone knew this was going to happen, its just frustrating to see it unfold.

edit: spelling

Let's just say that at this point in the season we're extremely lucky to have 6 wins considering the way we've been playing. This offense is pathetic right now and I'm not sure when it's gonna change. Other than Lee, no one can get a hit with a runner in scoring position.

Yep, just checked, same story as last year so far. 30th (dead last) in the majors hitting with RISP. 29th in RISP with 2 outs. And that was before today, 0-2 so far in each category tonight won't help.

Not to beat on a dead horse here, and I know fault has to be put on the execution by the guys, but does Butch Wynegar have any redeeming value as a batting coach at all? If he suddenly just stopped coming to work, would the offense even get worse? I don't see how they could.
