Hi all. I know from time to time BF.net has flexed its muscles and changed the course of history by significantly altering online voting contests. A kid I know, from our local HS ran for

~300 yds, over the decidedly pro-Cubs Hustiford Fukudomes. Rio has not had a lot of FB success in the last three decades. If you feel so inclined cast a vote for young Mr. Selje... Thanks!

Matt Selje, Sr., Rio - Quick, what were you doing in 1969? For many of us, we weren't even born yet. For the community of Rio, WI it was the last time their high school football team won a conference championship. That 39 year drought was snapped on the shoulders of senior running back Matt Selje. He ran for 296 yards and 3 touchdowns on 34 carries to give the Vikings at least a share of the conference crown, keep them undefeated, and carrying positive momentum into the playoffs.

Thanks guys Matt Selje won (44%) -- Rio beat Fall River 69-6 last night, going to 9-0 and their first conference championship since 1969 -- should be a #1 seed in Division 7. -- Sort of a big deal for the R10.
