Good Haunted Houses?

Well its that time of year and I'm looking for a good haunted house to visit. Been to one in the area a few years back on Mitchell St. and wasn't impressed. I'm not an easy scare, but it can be done. Looking for a place around SE Wisconsin. Any ideas? Any good experiences? Thanks for the info.

i like the splatter house but this year it moved to two rivers which may be a little too long of a drive. you can check out all wisconsin haunted houses at www.hauntedwisconsin.com. They have reviews for all the big ones around here.

My inlaws -- half past a bottle of Wild Turkey....

 

Some of the local corn mazes, are pretty fun -- for those with smaller kids. My wife and kids have a blast at those.

Just read in the paper about a brand new one this year next to Paulos's Pizza at 51st and Howard. Monster Mash or something like that. There are charging $12.00 so it better be good. There was a story that the guy took out a second mortgage on his house to start this up and his wife decided to let him do it because is was his life's dream.

Yes, the Splatterhaus. I went there a few years back and it scared the crap out of me. I also saw if moved to Two Rivers which is way too far for the trip. Hence I'm looking for a comparable one around here.

Anyone know of a good one in the Appleton area? We did the train one in green bay last year. Not that scary.

I'll find the name later, but I went to one in Neenah last October. It's right off of Hwy. 41. Pretty scary, and there's a coffin you can go into while your friends watch. They also have some delicious mini donuts.
