This is something I've been using now for the past two weeks. If you use Outlook for email, it's one of those things that are indispensible. It's a plugin that searches emails like gmail does, and really increases your productivity. It's free.

Doesn't the find function on Outlook do the same thing?

Yes, technically you can use the find function in outlook to find emails, but the search in xobni is much more intuitive. In the search results, it'll show what you're searching for in the context of each message.

 

It'll also show you a window with all the files exchanged between you and that person, as well as a list of your last conversations with that person.... sort of like a threaded view.

Oh I might have to give this a try. Make up for all my lost productivity due to the the Crew in the last few weeks.
