What was Hardy swinging at?

It definitely stinks that he swung at a ball, but the pitcher did exactly what he was trying to do. His curveball has been nasty and Hardy had already seen it a couple times, so he mixed it up and threw him a high fastball that looked extremely juicy compared to the breakers.

I find it hard to call an 89 or maybe 90 win team bad. They have some issues but so do most teams in baseball including many of the playoff teams.
