I can see not pinch hitting for Kendall because he is so crucial behind the plate. It is time to start pinch hitting for Corey Hart because he is absolutely lost at the plate.

Hart simply looks like total garbage right now, that's the most delicate way to possibly put it. I got sick to my stomach when he came up with the bases loaded, but at least he didn't hit into the DP I predicted.

Yeah, I'm ok with Kendall batting there. He hasn't been great at the plate this year, but he does have the ability to put the bat on the ball and we didn't need a power shot, just a base hit.

 

In the meantime, he hit it hard, just right at the SS.

No but he also has a .276 OBP and .320 SLG on the year so I don't have a ton of faith in him. His career OBP is only .333 as well and with bases loaded the OBP is what really matters.
