Your luck with game threads has been terrible. Please fix that. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah, September has been rough. If the Crew doesn't make the playoffs, I promise not to post any game threads next year.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Boys, we have waited 26 long years for this chance. I was a 25 year old kid last time and I thought it would happen all the time. Now, on my 51st birthday I know this chance is a special gift. Let's go get this one. Who knows, some of us might not ever get this chance again. Have fun and good luck. We know you can do it.

Happy Birthday Sauveb.

Accuscore gives us a 77% chance of winning today, but that probably doesn't consider the lack of rest of Sabathia and our inability to hit AA pitchers. They give Florida a 45% chance of winning.

Here's to a great season, no matter waht happens today. I will be cheering positively today, because cheering negatively will not improve anything. I don't care if Sabathia doesn't make it out of the first, best season I've had the privelage of watching. Winning wouldn't be so bad.

Today will be ulcer-ific.

I will not be able to handle the pressure today. I'm failing. As a fan, I am choking. Hopefully the players will not follow suite.

Beer will be in full flow today to help ease tensions.

Well, I know there is another IGT for the Mets-Marlins game, but given the circumstances, I think it's relevant to post their lineups here. When I saw the Marlins lineup, I just about cried......

15 Beltran, CF

21 Delgado, 1B

5 Wright, 3B

6 Evans, LF

22 Martinez, 2B

19 Church, RF

11 Castro, C

46 Perez, LHP

MARLINS (83-77):

24 Maybin, CF

21 Baker, C

3 Cantu, 3B

17 Jacobs, 1B

14 Willingham, LF

6 Uggla, 2B

Here is the Brewers lineup......it's up to the veterans who have been in this spot before(Durham, Counsell, & Kendall) to see the kids through this one. THEY need to be the ones with the big hits today, the solid defense, and the leadership to get this thing done.

Just for the record well before the game even starts, IF the Brewers win today, it will be because of a HUGE Corey Hart hit. That's right, I said it....THAT Corey Hart will come up big today.

CF Mike Cameron

2B Ray Durham

LF Ryan Braun

1B Prince Fielder

SS J.J. Hardy

RF Corey Hart

3B Craig Counsell

C Jason Kendall

LHP CC Sabathia
