I still can't get over this.

This was the second best hitting team in baseball this season and the fifth best pitching, with the best run differential by a country mile

Yeah, yeah: short series, etc etc.--

This was a straight-up choke job by the best team in the National League.

I think my move to this avatar earlier this season has finally paid off.

It's sweet to know that the same fans that make Brewers/Cubs games at Miller Park so unenjoyable are tasting yet another heaping spoonful of choke.

See you next Spring, Cubs fans. 100 years and counting.

For 14 hours, the Brewers and everyone in Milwaukee could relish in accomplishing something that an entire generation had lived without seeing. They won a playoff game. They were still alive. They were worth toasting. And, hey, if you happened to be double-fisting, the Cubs lost, and perhaps that was worth a clink, too.

Cool dude, come to a Brewer site and call Prince fat.

Well, he is fat, and Hart is ugly, but they're OUR fat and ugly guys (as opposed to Zambrano who is fat and ugly but not our guy). Except Hart right now, I'll call him Bowling Green's ugly guy until he hits for squat. Once he hits well I'll say he has a "unique bone structure".

Well he is, but he is our player. We can talk bad about him, other team's fans cant.

He's speaking in the third person to offer a parody of what Cubs fans are saying. He isn't insulting Fielder.

"Seriously, dink and dunk hits all over the place. We don't have any of them. The playoffs are a load of BS"

Because it's quoted material that's more or less pertinent, I'm not going to hide the post or kick in the disciplinary system.

However, for future reference, please note the following from the board language guidelines:

Using creative spellings or abbreviations to avoid the cuss filter is also not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, replacing letters in cuss words with characters or spaces. As an example, the use of "BS" is not allowed when intended to stand for a cuss word ("what a load of BS"). BS is allowed when intended to stand for non-cusses (Ben Sheets, bachelor of science, etc.).

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I know one of these videos was posted here last year. However, I was unaware their was a series of them. They are pretty funny (even for someone like me, who has never really hated the Cubs):

User in-game thread post in 1st inning of 3rd game of the 2022 season: "This team stinks"

I don't really agree with this. This is exactly what got me banned from the Cub site. In a post with about 30 negative posts about their players I post my thoughts on Zambrano and get banned because I'm a Brewer fan. It really doesn't make sense. Just because they are Cubs fans doesn't mean they can't voice their opinion on the Brewer players as long as their is some reasonable basis for the opinion.

... This year, they even invited a priest to bless their dugout with holy water before Game 1, a lot of good that did them...

Next year they can invite a hobo in to urinate all over their dugout. Maybe that will work for them.

Shouldn't be hard to find at Wrigley.

Dodgers were a tough draw for the Cubs. They could have faced the struggling Mets instead, but they chose to tank against the Brewers late. Oh well. I'll say, 101 and counting, even though I'm tired of hearing about it.

"I would not be a bit surprised if the individuals on the team from your area were sexually attracted to members of their own gender. That is how ineffective they are on the field of battle."

"...let us compare the respective facilities in which our teams play. While my team's edifice is blessed with architectural splendor and the most modern of amenities, yours is a thoroughly unpleasant place in which to watch a sporting contest. I know of what I speak, for I once attended a game between our respective teams in your facility. Let's just say the experience left me wishing that my car was inoperable that day due to mechanical problems, rendering it impossible for me to get to your area to attend the game. "
