Normally this is done to give some stake in a usual Brewer-less postseason. But just because they're in it doesn't mean we can't still make our predictions!

my preseason prediction on BPro is Indians over Sox, Yankees over Angels, Indians over Angels. Mets over Cubs, Dodgers over Brewers, Mets over dodgers, Indians over mets.

 

Since that won't happen I'll go um...

Rays over Angels

 

Phillies over Brewers

Dodgers over Cubs

 

Dodgers over Phillies

I see all 10 guys on ESPN predict the Phillies, and only Kirkijan (sp?) has the brewers winning more than 1 game.

Rays over Twins in 3

Red Sox over Angels in 5

 

Dodgers over Cubs in 3

Cubs fans in left field clamor for a fly ball along the foul line during the eighth inning of game 1. Soriano looks like he has a play but the railing breaks and five of the Bartman clones trying for the souvenir spill over the railing and onto the field and crush Soriano, ending his career. The demoralized Cubs fold like origami and start their next century of futility.

 

Brewers over Phillies in 4

Stetter enters game one to face Ryan Howard and beans him on the helmet, putting him in a coma. Utley, Rollins, and Werth are suspended for 4 games after leaving the dugout and battering Stetter. Mysteriously, none of the Brewers get involved in the fight other than Tony Gwynn Jr. Brewers scratch out enough offense against the Phillies second string to take the series.

 

Rays over Red Sox in 6

Brewers over Dodgers in 5

 

Jeff Kent grows a Kirk Gibson like mustache and stubble and hobbles out of the dugout to hit a dramatic home run off of Eric Gagne in extra innings during game 4. None of the Dodger youngsters greets Kent at home plate and he proceeds to start a melee with Matt Kemp, Russell Martin, and Andre Ethier in the dugout. The ensuing injuries force the Dodgers to start Juan Pierre each game.

 

Rays over Brewers in 5

God is a Rays fan after they took the word "Devil" off of their logo.

Twins win the play-in game.

 

Angels sweep the Red Sox.

Tampa beats the Twins 3-2 in a slug-fest of a series.

 

Dodgers over Cubs 3-1 in another slugfest.

Brewers get 3-2 series win over the Phillies. Teams combine for the most runs scored in a 5 game series. Ever.

 

Tampa 4-3 over the Angels. Errors win this series.

Brewers 4-0 over Dodgers. Too much good pitching. Suppan gets a start!

 

Tampa over Brewers in 5 games (wheels fall off the bus http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif ).

I just think the Angels are too good this year. They are going to find a way to win it all. I really think both teams in the world series are the two best in baseball.
