Interesting the two guys who never faced Hoffman come up with huge doubles in the tenth. Perhaps Ned should save Gross for the ninth tomorrow just in case Hoffman is on the mound.

Could someone describe Turnbow's save? I wasn't able to catch it on the radio, tv or gameday, so all I have is the box score that says 2 SO, 8 pitches, 7 strikes.

 

I imagine he struck out one batter on three pitches, one batter on four, and get the other batter to hit into an out on one pitch.
