Get over the bush league stuff on Lou. When you've clinched home field throughout why would you trot out your best relievers in a rainstorm. Marmol and Wood both threw Tuesday and they will probably throw once against the Brewers. It's the Brewers fault for putting themselves into a position where they need the Cubs to help them. Hart was acceptable before Sept but he has had one of the worst months of any player I've seen this month. A .446 OPS in 87 AB.

 

Fielder is too short to play 1B, 99% of 1B can make that stretch.

It's the Brewers fault for putting themselves into a position where they need the Cubs to help them.

This is a point that often gets overlooked. If we win 10 or 11 games so far this month, which is really just a .500 record we're talking about clinching the wildcard right now.
