For those watching, is Eveland hitting his spots?? From Gameday it looks like he's all over the place.

he's mostly hitting his spots with his fastball. He's struggling with location on his breaking pitches.

I think he's looked pretty decent. He's pitching inside a lot and getting called strikes.

Jose always did have the arm to play in the outfield when he was here. His glove wasn't all that great at SS.

And that folks is why you don't walk the pitcher. You put yourself in horrible positions.

 

Eveland's command on his fastball seems to be getting worse.

And I despise walks...but giving up one to the pitcher (and having him eventually score) makes it much worse.

 

We need to start hitting Gonzalez. No reason whatsoever that this guy should be putting the clamps on our bats like he is.
