Bill! Hall!

Thanks for saving "my" IGT.

What I was about to ask as the game ended:

Did the Brewers abuse Jose Valentin when he was here or something? Because he certainly was piling it on.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

You have to feel great for Billy's mom. She comes up from Mississippi for the weekend, and Billy hits a walkoff homer with the pink bat against the best team in the National League. Great stuff.

UNREAL>>>>>WHAT A GAME!!!

I can't believe how I can hate and love this team several times in 1 week.....

Here's a question I pose to you guys, especially those who went to at least 1 game....

Was that the greatest series in Miller Park history!?!?!

-I'd like you to name a better one

What happened to the J.J. Hardy of last year Post-All Star break? The only guess I can venture is that the scouting report on him has been updated and passed around

nah, he came out strong in April and then he struggled. Baseball players struggle, ALL of them do, especially young ones.

Ned does a decent job with it I think, let him sit a few days get his head straight and hope he figures out whats wrong with his mental approach at the plate then send them back out there and let them work out whatever physical problems they are having. There is not a single Brewer that wasn't just terrible for at least one full month last year, so until a slump lasts over a month its really not worth making a big deal about.

Bill Hall deserves all of the love that he's been getting here. Who can make a fantastic play in the 9th at short, move to center for the 10th and then win the game? And with a pink bat nonetheless?? Great game, and an even better finish!

Brady's a nice reserve at this point, but the Crew can't afford to keep any one of those three on the bench.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in the "bench Brady as much as possible camp," but JJ has not being doing much to make his presence required. I think the Brewers could certainly "afford" to keep him on the bench, as he's not producing.

Take a step back:

We just took 2 out of 3 against *arguably* the best team in the NL after a terrible road trip.

I don't know what to say except that I'm glad that we are done facing these guys this regular season.

Oh, and I hope the past two games won't have a negative effect on D-Bow. They weren't really bad performances, but I hope he won't pull a Lidge on us and stink because of one crucial big hit given up.

Couldn't agree more. Not sure at what point the stat guys will say we have a "large enough sample size" to determine definitively that Brady stinks, but I think it is fair to say that the evidence is mounting. Let him come off the bench.

I think we need Hart on the roster. Why not give him a chance out in center? Clark is absolutely worthless right now. And he has shown few signs of coming out of the pit he's dragged himself into. It's a shame this had to happen after we gave him his big payday.
