Looks like Zambrano didn't have his no-hit stuff today against St. Louis. He left in the 2nd after giving up 8 earned runs.

 

Cards up 12-2 in the 7th...think their pen can hold it?

 

Also, Soto was scratched with a sore hand. Didn't look too sore yesterday hitting that HR. Grrrrr...

Philly losing big late, Mets up 2 on the Braves, but the Braves have bases loaded with nobody out.

 

Edit: now 1 out.

Chipper Jones leaves the game for the Braves with Atlanta trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the 7th.

 

Edit: And of course, the Braves rally to tie the game at 5, thanks to two errors by the Mets. A throwing error by Jose Reyes gets Brandon Jones on, and then an error by Ryan Church turns a single by Martin Prado into a run-scoring play, with Prado moving into second.

How fitting - Julian Tavarez gives up 3 runs in the top of the 8th top put the Mets up 8-5

We should have kept Tavarez...and sealed him in a vault well below Miller Park to keep him away from doing further damage to us...uggh
