Must be nice to pinch hit for your catcher in late inning situations.

Fortunately, with a clutch hitter like Moeller as our backup we'll never have to! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Fielder gets Nunez on the force at second. I'm loving this kid's defense. He's really solid out there.

This is the fourth straight game for Brian's House.

Huh. I'd leave Kolb in, but he is facing a hot lefty.

Okay, so they bring in a righty PH to face Shouse ... isn't this when Yost is supposed to come back out and bring Wise in?

Maybe you're just joking, but once a pitching change has been made, that pitcher must face at least one batter.

I'm thinking Melvin is like a dad who finally gave in and got his little guy that new toy...Ned's been leaving him endless voice mails saying, "Please can I please have a LOOGY, Doug? Pretty pretty please?"

Now Ned feels like a real manager...he can use a lefty specialist just like Tony LaRussa! Or get outmaneuvered just like Bobby Cox!

Turnbow's up.....Unreal 5 games in a row..I don't like that at all..If he gets shelled Yost will do him another diservice. and...IS MATT WISE HURT!!1!!...We've used him once since like the 6th of May

I think Turnbow would bite Ned's head off if he didn't let him come out for the save today.

Turnbow is our closer. And an elite one at that. When we have the lead I want him out there if at all possible. We just had an off day on Monday. I'm sure he's good to go. I trust him out there more than anyone else in the pen to shut the door on this very impressive sweep.

Plus I think it's important after pulling him yesterday, to get him right back out there to show him.."you're still our guy."
