Karros just said Braun is lost at the plate right now. He's not wrong, although he could say that about every Brewer other than Hardy, Cameron, or Kendall right now.

cameron has a .376 OPS in September. That definitely qualifies as lost.

Well, I guess that really is how bad it has been that a guy with a .376 OPS doesn't seem horrible compared to his teammates, although Cameron's September numbers are woefully awful. Man, where have I been? I think I was basing my judgment on Cam's OPS of 1.200 in August, lol.

I believe most double headers are split, so teh percentages say we have a decent shot at a win tomorrow.
I saw a stat on ESPN that today is the most double headers since 1980. There were 6 on that day back then, with the visiting team sweeping 4. So, I guess if you want to lump tomorrow in with today and call it a weekend of double headers, we have a chance!

The percentages also say teh Brewers will make the playoffs, but how many of us are really putting faith in those numbers at this moment? Other than against STL, the Brewers have been not only beaten by 'good' teams after the AS break, they've been *destroyed*.

The real kick in the groin if the Brewers lose out on the psotseason won't be getting beat by the good teams that have consistently demonstrated that they deserve it, it will be the fact that the Brewers may well be mathmatically eliminated at home by the Pittsburgh Pirates, or may look back at next weekends Cinci series as a backbreaker.

Carlos Villanueva really saved the bullpen today. McClung and Dillard can pitch again tomorrow, and I'd imagine we see Shouse and Coffey for an inning a piece here.
