MLB has more problems than just Cubs/Astros

If the forecast holds, heavy rains are expected all day today and Sunday in Chicago, jeopardizing the entire Sox/Tigers series. There's also more rain expected all over the eastern half of US this weekend.

 

They might just be better off extending the season a couple days.

The remnants of Ike is supposed to be moving up through the Midwest and then to the east coast during the week as well. This could make things interesting.

There's streets flooded all over Chicago area and the rain is coming in buckets. Been living in this area over 30 years. Ranks with the worst I've ever seen.

 

Might be better on south side, so Sox have some hope of getting at least one in.

Sox games postponed, per MLB.com. Good news for us folks in Chicago, because hopefully this means they will show Brewers-Phils on FOX.
