No FSN. It will have to be radio or MLBtv/Extra Innings.

Sheets, starting the thread at 7:29? That's rather impressive. This is a winnable game with Madson pitching from the pen, my eye will be on watching Eveland's improvement.

No TV today is just another reason why I hate the FSN contract. Are we being pre-empted for another rerun of Beyond the Glory or Poker Superstars challenge? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

Now that I see that a .500 May is actually still within reach...I really want it. (Not that I wouldn't take a .500+ May.)

If one month ago, on April 28, you'd known that Ben and Tomo were about to go down, what would you have predicted for May?

(not to minimize JJ's loss, but the challenge this month has obviously been pitching)

Go Brewers. Do it for gregmag, and for the rest of us in absentia!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

It could be important for Dana to go deep into this game for more than just his survival and the result of today's game. The Pirates went 18 innings yesterday and depleted their bullpen as a result. If Houston can get to them again today and Eveland gets a good start, it will give the Brewers a huge bullpen advantage going into 4 games in Pittsburgh.

Nothing worse than waking up still excited about last night's win, getting ready to watch the game in a couple of hours and finding out it's not on tv. Now that the Brewers are competitive this better be the last year of this crap.

I agree about the Pittsburgh thing. I know we aren't supposed to win in PNC, but our team is just too good to lose that series, or even split. We need to win 3 of 4, if not sweep them. The Pirates are just plain bad. Their starters are average, but their bench is awful. And as far as pitching goes, we are facing some real gems in that series...

Two years ago i thought that the Pirates and the Brewers were both stocked with prospects and ready to make some noise... Now i realize that they traded for the only prospects they really had. Duke, yeah, but little else. Nothing like what we have going. I will be very dissapointed with anything less than 3 wins.

I think Moeller should be in the 8 spot. The catcher doesn't have to hit 7th Ned.

I know Ned likes Brady in the 8th spot as he can do some things well with the bat ion front of the pitcher. He's also probably looking at giving Moeller more to hit in the 7 hole, as they might be less likely to want to face Brady with men on base.

wow, not on extra innings. Boy, this stinks. It's dropped to the 70s in Zona. Since it was 100 last week, and there's zero humidity and 20 mph winds, 70 suddenly makes me want to stay inside. I figure there's no sympathy for me, though

DHonks, I totally agree.

Got the windows open and it's a cool 65 degrees in Kingman.

Kinda need to put socks on or something to keep my feet warm.

Why no Phillies broadcast even? Is it on their local TV channel and that's why no DirecTV?

Does anybody remember where it is posted about using an outside server so I can watch the game on MLBTv today? It is a post from earlier this year I believe but I dont remember where it is. I think it talks about a Mexican server or something.

You know, given what's happened the past 5 games between these two teams, I can just see the Phils whalloping Eveland early and often and cruising to a blowout win, taking their anger out on the Brewers all along the way.

Prove me wrong Crew.

I know exactly what you mean. I know its easy to see that the brewers won the last three games and all of a sudden forget their road record and bullpen problems. I'd like to be optimistic too, but to demand three out of four from pittsburgh is a stretch.

My prediction is a loss today and 2-2 in pittsburgh. I don't think thats being overly pessimistic, and I hope the brewers can do better than that, but remember how hot pittsburgh has been lately....
