The Cubs offense vs. Moyer scares me. Hopefully Wandy Rodriguez can pitch well against those sleeping giants and get a sweep for the Astros.

Cards get swept by the Astros with a 3-0 loss today. I'm debating on who to root for in this Cubs/Phillies game. If the Cubs somehow managed to make another comeback, it'd lower our magic number, but if the Phils hang on, we're only back 4.5 in the division. With a month left and 6 games vs. the Cubs, while improbable, it's not impossible.

And the Dodgers start off strong against Webb. Ethier jacks one into the pool (which seems to get a lot of attention from homerun balls despite it's lack of size) and they get two more on base with 1 out. Now 2 down after a good play by the shortstop.

I'm personally hoping for a Webb implosion to make CC's day look even sweeter to the Cy Young voters.. I know, i know, but he's already got MVP wrapped up http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

As of the end of the 1st inning...

Pitcher A: 15-8, 2.82 ERA, 210.1 IP, 208K, 1.13 WHIP, 52 BB - Over half of his starts were in the "tougher" AL on a bad team.

Pitcher B: 19-5, 3.14 ERA, 189.1 IP, 157K, 1.14 WHIP, 47 BB - Playing all season in the NL on a first place team.

Who's your Cy Young? *Disclaimer* I am well aware of the fact that when you switch from the AL to the NL your stats reset. However, it does not mean that those starts for Cleveland did not happen. If anything, it makes his numbers more impressive.
