It's pretty embarassing when FSN is interviewing your 18 yr. old pitcher you just drafted and HE has a better understanding of how you should pitch with a lead than the guys on your roster. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Maybe we should keep him around instead of sending him to rookie ball. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Here's a post on the Cards board that sums it up

I do not understand why Ned Yost and Mike Maddux (and whomever else has their ear) cannot seem to improve their management of the relief corps. Jeremi Gonzalez, acquired to be a long reliever, hasn't pitched since June 2nd and has made only two appearances with the Brewers. Capellan hadn't pitched since May 30th until last night and now they're bringing him in on back-to-back days.

I don't get it.

It seems like we have gone through this before. Ned has a tendency to fall in love with relievers with hard sinkers, and always gets burned. Everybody here knew that Winkelsas doesn't throw enough enough strikes to get out of a bases loaded jam. Is Jeremi Gonzalez hurt? I thought that he was the long man.

My next comparison isn't exactly valid because neither of these starts were quality starts. Ned also has a tendency to follow certain starters with certain relievers. I can't remember who it was (maybe Bottalico) but the same guy kept blowing leads on Doug Davis. Now in JDLR's last two starts Winkelsas has allowed all of the baserunners he left to score. Winkelsas has allowed 6 extra earned runs to JDLR's total. Maybe next time somebody else can follow JDLR.

Jose Capellan seems to be next to useless in games in which he enters early when we are behind.

Ned Yost, Jerry Royster, Davey Lopes . . . apparently they have the same philosophy. Play like &&&&, I'm am so sick of watching this same stuff night after day after day.

P.S. I can't wait until tomorrow night!!!
