6/21/06 Tigers (Robertson) @ Brewers (Capuano) 1:05pm CST

Badger61

I am amused by the dichotomy of these two teams with those runners in scoring position.

The Tigers, with a lead-off double, give up two outs before they get an RBI double, and the pitcher singles in a run. The Brewers have men on first and second with one out, and the pitcher K's on a foul bunt and then we have a two-pitch fly-out to left.

Hopefully we don't leave too many chances like that on the table.

Correction: I'm also frustrated by the dichotomy.

Ok, so here's the situation-

Chad Moeller is on first base, and Santa Claus is on second. The Easter Bunny is pinch hitting for the Tooth Fairy.

T.F. lays down the bunt up the third base line. Santa and Chad take off for their bases, who reaches ahead of the other?

Trick question. Chad Moeller would never have reached base.

-I used to have a neat-o signature, but it got erased.

Bad (clap clap clap)

Chad (clap clap clap)

Bad (clap clap clap)

Chad (clap clap clap)

This is what my nephew and I were chanting the day we were at the ballpark together.

Yes, it rips off the Bill Hall cadence.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Jamie, I should mention I saw Chad almost hit an inside the park homer in spring training '05. Almost, because the throw beat him home, but the catcher missed it, yet proceeded to tag Chad. He thought he'd been tagged out, and started walking to the dugout right past the plate, when the pitcher (backing up the throw) walked up and tagged him, mere inches from the plate.

I love sticking it in the face of a pitcher by stealing two pitches after a pick-off attempt.

Now we have two batters to get him in - granted, one of them is Bad Chad.

It is Time, Bad Chad, for your Second Single of the month.

That's great, Jamie. But you may have to really crank your smacktalk-o-meter to reach Bad Chad.

Anyone for Bad Chad haiku?

Brewers' lineup has

Big black hole in the 8-spot

You know. It's Bad Chad.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

enough is enough with Chad why is he still on the roster.

The Brewers dumped Hendrickson after his horrible effort so why not give Rivera a chance. I would Hope Either Doug or Mark say to Ned we know you like Chad but he stinks and we are in this to win,so he being cut

Yeah but look at the SB quantities. They obviously don't run as much on him, and when they do, it's probably good base stealers.

Miller hasn't exactly lit up the world with his arm either:

SB CS CS%

Moeller 20 5 20%

MIller 23 8 26%

Ode to Chad

Hating you Mr. Moeller is not a fad

Batting with the determination of a 9-year undergrad

Your dollar-ninety average... sad sad sad

Catching painful to see, sinking feeling in the gonads

A matinee after the nightcap no Miller... mad mad mad

You get playing time because Nedly too wore the pads

You are as unaccountable & worthless as a hanging Chad
