So they lose three of four to finish the road trip, but the ninth inning comeback yesterday was encouraging. I hope the offense can continue where they left off as CC is due to give up a few runs today.

Cecil Cooper is also predicting a sweep of the Crew. I hope they post that article in the clubhouse and the Brewers turn the tables and sweep the Astros. They cannot overlook this series.

Cecil Cooper is also predicting a sweep of the Crew.

You have got to be kidding. I thought Coop was smarter than that. Where did you see that?

Apparently he has not seen the memo that Sabathia is the best pitcher in the majors since he's been with the Crew.

If Houston scores more than two runs tonight, I'll be surprised.

GO CREW!!!

EDIT: Right on their front page: Cooper predicts sweep in Milwaukee

The Astros need to sweep us to keep their playoff hopes alive. I hope we sweep em and crush those hopes.

Cooper's idea is not too tall an order, considering the Astros took two of three from the Brewers their last time in Milwaukee, facing Jeff Suppan, Dave Bush and Manny Parra.

Wait, so you took 2 of 3 from the bottom of our rotation and now you expect to do better facing the top, when we don't have to face your ace?

Well if his prognastication for game outcomes is anything like his score predictions, then we will be in good shape:

Cooper said he is done predicting scores for games following his incorrect assumption of Saturday's final score. Cooper had told Drayton McLane that Backe would go seven innings while giving up one run, and that the Astros would score four by the time he came out. Instead, the Astros were down 7-1 in the fifth, and 11-1 in the top of the seventh.
As always, go Brewers!
