The ChiSox are once again laying it to the Cards, 13-3 in the 6th.

 

Line of the night:

 

Jason Marquis, STL, P

 

5 IP, 14 H, 13 R, 13 ER

 

With St. Louis giving up 20 runs last night, it appears Marquis is taking one for the team tonight.

"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."

Jose Reyes hits for the cycle tonight, but somehow the Reds beat the Mets with a 2 out, bases loaded single by Phillips (I guess he kills other teams besides the Brewers) in the 9th. Darn it. On another central update, the Astros have scored 4 unanswered runs and take a 5-3 lead over Minnesota in the 8th. Why does it happen that when we win, everyone else wins? Even the Scrubs are winning.
