Ugh...oh well. The Brewers really had no business winning the game, anyway. It would've been nice to steal one, but it would've been completely unexpected.

 

Tough to win when your starting pitcher gives up 3 home runs.

I'm not even mad, the way Ethier killed us this series I had a feeling it would happen.

 

Man I love Braun more and more everyday. He is just so special and it was clear going back to ST of last season. When they interviewed Ted Simmons after the game he said Braun reminds him a lot of Pujols, but without the plate discipline yet. And I would say that is right on. When Ryan improves his OBP he is going to be in Albert's league.

Tough loss, but nice comeback in the 9th. 3-3 on the west coast wouldn't have happened in years past.

The weirdest thing about this game, for me, is that listening to the 9th inning on the car radio, once the game got within a Ryan Braun home run of being tied, I was not even 1% surprised to hear him hit it out. Ryan really is a difference-maker, not just for today, but for the franchise.

 

Bummer to hear Carlos falter; but I'm glad the Brewers at least made it a little tougher late in the game. 3-3 on the west coast is a silver lining.
